Tool case for a makeup kit is genius!

I have been searching for a new and relatively inexpensive way to carry my stuff.

Thanks Jordan Liberty for posting this as a suggestion to fellow MUAs!

My kit before: (HATED having to take absolutely everything out to find anything, even though it was organized into categories)

After: (Left hand compartment is full of my RCMA foundation palettes, and blush palettes that you can’t see because they are black)

Seriously the easiest thing to work out of ever! I barely had to set up anything while I worked today. I am so happy I bought these, I highly recommend them to anyone trying to be more organized.

Geez, I feel like these photos of the new kit make me feel like I don’t have a lot of stuff, because it looks that way in the photos, and maybe I should shop and buy more (because of course I love when I can buy makeup) :D, but in reality the boxes are pretty deep so there is a good amount piled under things.

Anyway, these cases were only $21 a piece, and I got a luggage cart for $14 to add some wheels for long distances. The only drawback I can see is going up stairs. Not going to happen with the cases strapped to the cart, but they do have handles and shoulder straps if you aren’t going too far.

Accidents, shallow creatures, and stuffed birds…

What a day!

I will work my way from finish, to start, since the end of my day was not so fun, but the rest of the day was great! :)

So, the end of the day I am driving home and thinking about how nice it was to see the sun again! Traffic is flowing nicely, but next thing I know everyone stopped short and I didn’t react in time. Everyone was ok, thank God! My car is not so pretty right now though :(

Now we move on to the good stuff! Two published editorials in one day can’t be a bad thing :)

I woke up this morning to an email with a link to some of my work published in 12 Magazine. I had no idea that it had even been submitted, so it was a VERY welcomed surprise! Even though this shoot got off to a bit of a late start due to the madness of Boston traffic, I had sooo much fun working with the photographer Natalia Borecka, and the models- Mara Adriana and her dog Remi!

Last but not least, the release of the photos from the Spring 2011 Edition of RI STYLE Magazine.

This shoot was definitely one of a kind! We shot at Heir in Providence which is a uniquely odd, but very cool place. They had stuffed birds everywhere, and crazy random things like a huge wire ball with pink feathers coming out of the bottom and a spiked latch that revealed a cat skull, or a nest full of teeth.

The photographer Jessica Weiser and her husband Lyle Koehnlien (www.fideliophotography.com) were an absolute blast to shoot with! The model, Orla Roche was super gorgeous and sweet, and the stylist Karen Beebe had a great eye to pull together the wardrobe and our surroundings.

I can’t wait to shoot with these guys again!

I took the plunge.

Last night I decided to take the plunge and start blogging. I’ve never blogged before in my life. But, for those who know me, know I think big and even when I try to make something simple, it never seems to happen that way. Sooo, yeah… I started 3 blogs. I will use this one mostly to post inspiration, and also some updates on what I am up to. The other two blogs will be to update everyone about The Inej Agency and BridalArtists.com activity.

With everything I have going on, it shouldn’t be too hard to keep up with :/

Here are the links to all three…

So pretty. This photo makes me want to go buy the new OCC “Beta” lip tar! And I always love the look of a messy fishtail.

The future belongs to the risk takers, not the security seekers! Use your own mind, think for yourself, and don’t follow the pack!! Some will make ridiculous assumptions & judge those actions seeing it as being negative or disloyal. Who cares!!? Realize the strength and intelligence it takes to not be a follower. Be persistent in following your dreams until success becomes reality.
